Image resizer is another power toy created by Microsoft and it can be very handy in resizing pictures.This software integrates to windows shell and by simply right clicking on the image you can resize it.

I found a free online image resizer called QuickResizer Image Resizer. If you are away from your PC and don't want to download any software, you can just use this online version for free. It's quick and it's easy to use.

Much like the image resizer offered by Power Toys for XP (Microsoft), you can right-click an image file in your Windows Explorer and resize it from the context menu.
