Notepad++

Notepad++ is a great application which will simply replace your windows notepad owing to its great functionality and innovations.Original windows notepad is used widely for writing programs but it lacks vital support for programing languages. On the other side Notepad++ supports C, C++, Java, C#, XML, HTML, PHP, Javascript, RC resource file, makefile, ASCII art file (extension .nfo, doxygen, ini file, batch file, ASP, VB/VBS source files, SQL, Objective-C, CSS, Pascal, Perl, Python and Lua.
Ordinary note pad can open only one file at a time and only one file can be edited at a time.The versatility of note pad is that each file opens in seperate tabs under a main window and you can use a special view in which two documents can be viewed and edited simultaneously.You can open a document by drag & drop. You can also move your document from a position (or even a view) to another by drag & drop.
Another useful feature is the text highlighting.Select any text and all similer texts in the file is highlighted automatically.Press ctrl+Enter and word completion help will be obtained. I recommend you to try Notepad++ and realize how it replaces windows note pad.
